Most of the studies I've read deal with how couples are altering their day - DJ's instead of bands, Day-of wedding coordinators instead of full wedding planners, bargain basement gowns instead of pricey designer lines.... etc. I also read a post yesterday that said a lot of couples are moving to Thursdays instead of the traditional Saturday wedding - a big saver.
